HISTORY

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is an international network of civil engineers and the oldest national professional engineering society in the United States. Chartered in 1968, the University of Florida Student Chapter is one of the largest student chapters with over 100 active members. Our chapter transforms civil engineering students into working professional engineers. Our students serve in community projects, get to know one another at chapter socials,  compete in intramural sports, study together in the ASCE lounge, network at general body meetings, and compete in national student engineering competitions.

OUR VISION

UF ASCE is built on a foundation of students aimed to develop a family of gator engineers to establish the sense of belonging for the future of all its members

OUR MISSION

UF ASCE provides professional and social networking events and competition teams with professionals, students, professors, and the community of Gainesville to promote professionalism, technical skills, teamwork, and service
